Job Opportunity

The Los Angeles Community College District is seeking a dynamic and motivated Adjunct Psychology Instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to engage and educate our students in a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Psychology courses, promoting engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning.
  • Collaborate with students, staff, faculty, and administrators to achieve academic and professional goals.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling, Sociology, Statistics, Neuroscience, or Social Work.
  • OR the equivalent.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
