The Los Angeles Community College District is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time faculty member in the Dental Technology department. As an adjunct instructor, you will have the opportunity to engage and educate our students in a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Dental Technology classes, promoting engaging and inclusive educational environments that support student learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students, including guidance on course selection and career goals.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote student success and retention.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in Dental Technology, or Associate's degree and six years of experience.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
  • COVID-19 vaccination and health clearance.
