Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified LPN Instructor to join our team at Spartanburg Community College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs to students, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies to facilitate learning.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and the healthcare industry.
  • Student Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to students, ensuring they meet the requirements for graduation.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education, participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing: A master's degree in nursing is required for this position.
  • South Carolina Nursing License: A current, unencumbered South Carolina nursing license is required.
  • Clinical Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in nursing care or nursing education is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Simulation Experience: Experience in simulation and medical/surgical nursing is preferred.
