As a leader in one-on-one assisted stretching, StretchLab emphasizes a hands-on approach where clients experience personalized stretching sessions. Our team comprises skilled professionals who are certified or licensed in various health and fitness disciplines. We take pride in our nationally accredited training program, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch stretching experiences.
We are currently seeking individuals for FULL TIME or PART TIME positions. The role requires working approximately five weekdays and one weekend day, with evening shifts on occasion. For full-time candidates, the position will begin with a mix of Flexologist responsibilities and front desk/sales duties, transitioning to a more hands-on role as you gain experience. Part-time candidates will primarily focus on hands-on stretching from the outset.
Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills for stretching techniques, as well as front desk and sales training for full-time roles. We are looking for candidates who are committed to a long-term career with us, ideally with a minimum commitment of one year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Conduct personalized assisted stretching sessions
- Motivate and support clients throughout their stretching experience
- Assist in building and maintaining StretchLab memberships
- Ensure client safety by adhering to proper stretching techniques and company policies
- Participate in staff meetings and educational sessions
- Address member concerns as needed
- Contribute positively to the team environment
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all equipment
Qualifications:
- A passion for fitness and a strong interest in stretching, mobility, and flexibility
- Experience in a fitness or health setting providing hands-on client training
- Current certification, license, or degree in a fitness or health-related field (must include anatomy/physiology)
- Ability to foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on empathy
- A genuine desire to connect with clients and help them achieve their fitness goals
- Professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to attendance policies
- Willingness to complete our Flexologist Training Program, which includes online tutorials and in-person training (compensation provided)
- Preferred backgrounds include:
- Licensed Physical Therapist
- Licensed Massage Therapist
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants
- Licensed Occupational Therapists
- LPN / RN
- Certified Athletic Trainer
- Certified Personal Trainer
- Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor
- Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, or Human Biomechanics
- Other wellness or fitness certifications considered
