Position Overview:

The Educational Software Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering technical assistance and training related to software applications for educational institutions.

This position is integral to the Greater Columbia River Information Service Center Cooperative, which focuses on the implementation, training, and support of various software solutions, including Skyward SMS and Qmlativ Financial Management, Human Resources, and Student applications.

While the primary focus is on Student Software applications, the role may also extend support to Fiscal and HR applications as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, analytical thinking, and a strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

This role requires travel to various educational districts and related agencies, with the added benefit of remote work flexibility.

Employment Details:
This position is affiliated with North Central ESD 171 and necessitates a regional presence within the Vancouver area.

Although primarily remote, the role will involve occasional travel for staff events, training sessions, and meetings within the North Central ESD Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and training for educational software systems.
  • Assist school district personnel with student records data management.
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation.
  • Support various accounting matters within school districts.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in an educational service agency or school district, preferably with Skyward Software.
  • Proven experience in creating procedural documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist school district staff with diverse accounting issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
