Job Summary

Pinnacles Prep Charter School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Instructional Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide targeted academic support and tutoring to small groups or individual students, focusing on areas such as reading, writing, and math.
  • Supervise passing periods and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the implementation of instructional programs, including self-help and behavior management strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Requirements
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other educational software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
