Job Description:
This Claims Processor role involves requesting documents, preparing claims forms, and resolving discrepancies related to claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on submitted documents and drafting documents for review and approval.

Key Responsibilities:
* Request documents as needed for claims submission
* Prepare claims forms or related documents and review them for completeness
* Initiate calls to resolve discrepancies related to claims
* Evaluate the completion of all claims in a timely fashion
* Follow up on submitted documents and draft documents for review and approval
* Respond to voicemails and messages as needed
* Provide general status updates regarding active claim progress
* Analyze claim supporting evidence to identify issues of fact and law, including cases involving fatal heart attacks, strokes, vascular ruptures, and other medical conditions

Requirements:
* Background check eligibility
* Strong organizational and mathematical skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Education and Experience:
* Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (field with legal emphasis preferred)
* At least one year of paralegal experience

Salary:
$62,000 - $80,000 per year
