Key Responsibilities:
As a Field Sales Engineer, you will:
- Drive the sales of power distribution solutions including MV/LV Switchgear, Switchboards, and Panelboards through direct sales channels.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with medium and large Electrical Contractor accounts while establishing connections with key end-user clients.
- Prepare comprehensive project package quotations to deliver a complete bill of materials to clients.
- Operate primarily within the designated territory, with a focus on remote work.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of experience in selling power distribution equipment, particularly MV/LV switchgear and switchboards.
- Proven experience in the Data Center market is advantageous.
- A strong history of negotiating medium to large project orders and developing new client relationships while maintaining existing ones throughout the sales process.
- Expertise in generating precise project proposals utilizing MV/LV switchgear to present a complete bid package.
- A self-driven approach with a high degree of professionalism, along with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with the Sales Director to create, implement, and continuously refine an agreed-upon Account plan.
- Building and nurturing positive relationships with all decision-makers and influencers within accounts.
- Gaining a deep understanding of the client’s purchasing process and engaging in revenue opportunities within defined accounts.
- Identifying and addressing client challenges and requirements, utilizing both personal and internal resources to develop proposals that meet or exceed expectations.
- Ensuring a smooth transition to the Platform Execution team and maintaining oversight of all commercial engagements to ensure customer satisfaction and vendor performance.
- Staying informed about the client’s business, including their commercial conditions, structure, strategy, and operational challenges to effectively communicate opportunities and risks.
- Providing all internal stakeholders with account-specific insights to enhance their contributions to client success.
- Managing forecasting and providing necessary information for capacity planning.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 annually, based on various factors including education, experience, location, and specific job responsibilities.
