Field Service Engineer II

Leica Biosystems is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer II, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical devices. This is a remote position, and you will be working independently to troubleshoot, install, and maintain our equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person visits
Troubleshoot and repair medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments
Install and maintain equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly
Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner
Actively support the sale of service contracts and assist sales representatives with system configurations and upgrades
Requirements
Associate's degree with 3+ years of technical experience or 5+ years of equivalent technical work experience
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs
Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments is a plus
