The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing on-site installation, repair, and maintenance services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to diagnose issues quickly and find practical solutions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customers to support technical and sales reviews, training seminars, demonstrations, and product/process troubleshooting.
  • Installation of adhesive equipment at customer locations.
  • Technical liaison between customers and the Applied team.
  • Make product suggestions and process improvement recommendations to customers.
  • Document service reports into ServiceMax.

  • Enjoys troubleshooting and working with your hands.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
  • Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Ability to handle objects weighing up to 25 lbs. and on occasion may be expected to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certifications preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, and proven experience installing and maintaining equipment at customer locations is required.
  • Ability to diagnose issues quickly and find practical solutions under pressure.
  • Clear and effective communicator with both clients and internal teams, and strong focus on client satisfaction and professional interaction.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and complete jobs efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel to various client locations and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.
  • Basic understanding of safety and regulatory requirements in the field.
