Key Responsibilities

As a crucial member of the Chick-fil-A team, your primary focus will be on maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our restaurant while assisting in food preparation tasks. Your efforts will significantly contribute to creating a welcoming and sanitary environment for our guests.

Facility Maintenance:
  • Regularly ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within the restaurant.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash receptacles throughout the facility.
  • Maintain spotless floors through sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
  • Sanitize glass surfaces, tabletops, and chairs to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Conduct cleaning and upkeep of playgrounds, patios, and parking lots.
  • Dust and clean fixtures, walls, and ceilings as required.
  • Engage in deep cleaning projects as assigned.
  • Ensure dining areas are tidy by cleaning chairs and table legs.
  • Vacuum carpets and maintain cleanliness of walls and baseboards.
Food Preparation Support:
  • Assist in the rotation of chicken to guarantee freshness and quality.
  • Oversee freezer and thaw cabinets to comply with food safety regulations.
  • Participate in the fileting and sorting of chicken according to restaurant standards.
  • Perform additional food preparation duties as needed.
Dishwashing Duties:
  • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize kitchenware.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards during the dishwashing process.
  • Organize and restock clean dishes in designated areas.
  • Work alongside kitchen staff to ensure a seamless flow of clean dishes for food preparation.
Sanitation and Hygiene:
  • Maintain restroom facilities to high cleanliness standards.
  • Regularly clean and upkeep dining rooms, front counters, and drive-thru areas.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchen areas, including equipment and shelving.
  • Sanitize trash bins and manage designated dumpster areas.
Utility Tasks:
  • Perform utility work as necessary to enhance overall restaurant efficiency.
Qualifications

  • Physical Stamina: Capable of engaging in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
