Job Overview

The Catering Services Manager is a leadership position that oversees all aspects of catering solutions and special events at Aramark. This role leads the Catering team to deliver exceptional events and catering experiences that meet customer expectations and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute catering solutions to meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Deliver consistent quality in planning and executing events, including food preparation and presentation.
  • Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to their needs.
  • Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed, ensuring quality in final presentation.
  • Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure quality assurance that all requests are met prior to the event.
  • Responsible for delivering food and labor targets, ensuring revenue and expense goals are met.
  • Responsible for the execution of catering events of varied size and scope, including staffing and management.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of all catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies.
Requirements
  • Requires at least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in events, hospitality, and catering is preferred.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Available to work event-based hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
