Job Title: Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's - Greater Indiana Chapter

At the Alzheimer's Association, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our Walk to End Alzheimer's event in the Greater Indiana Chapter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve our mission to end Alzheimer's disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a fundraising plan to achieve revenue goals, including identifying and engaging key community and corporate leaders, building and empowering volunteer committees, and coaching and inspiring volunteers to implement and build on proven strategies and best practices.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to achieve fundraising goals, including high-level volunteer recruitment, training, coaching, and management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key volunteers, participants, sponsors, and community leaders, as well as existing and new corporate partners.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach plan to promote the Alzheimer's Association mission and the Walk to End Alzheimer's event, including community presentations and corporate engagement opportunities.
  • Work closely with the volunteer planning committee to organize outreach activities and ensure Walk to End Alzheimer's standards are being followed.
  • Represent the Alzheimer's Association at public events, conferences, and media events as needed.
  • Manage Walk-Specific social media, such as Facebook groups.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
  • Preferred peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent sales background.
  • Confident, goal-oriented, positive self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to form and develop corporate relationships and partnerships.
