Fundraising Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our Walk to End Alzheimer's team in Fort Wayne and Michiana. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing successful fundraising strategies, building relationships with community leaders, and managing volunteer committees to achieve revenue and team goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fundraising plans to achieve revenue and team goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key volunteers, participants, sponsors, and community leaders
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteer committees to execute Walk to End Alzheimer's events
  • Collaborate with corporate sponsors and constituents to ensure involvement in chapter activities and recognition opportunities
  • Organize outreach activities to promote the Alzheimer's Association mission, including community presentations and corporate engagement opportunities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals
  • Preferred peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent sales background
  • Confident, goal-oriented, positive self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners
