Job Title: ReStore Donation Manager

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne is seeking a highly motivated and organized ReStore Donation Manager to join our team. As a key ambassador for incoming donations, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and growing current donor relationships, developing new sources of donations, and increasing sales to support our mission of building homes, communities, and hope.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Donor Prospecting: Clearly articulate the Habitat mission and purpose of the ReStore to prospective donors, perform in-depth research to identify potential donation sources, and utilize the Habitat GFW Development Fundraising System to cultivate relationships with prospective donors.
  • Donation Screening: Communicate the ReStore's donation acceptance guidelines, prioritize donations that align with the ReStore's mission, and provide alternative resources for donations that do not meet the acceptance criteria.
  • Donor Stewardship: Utilize the Habitat GFW Development Fundraising Process to nurture and develop existing relationships with donors, maintain donation records, and participate in the Habitat GFW Stewardship Process for each donation.
  • Donation Scheduling: Accurately assess and prioritize incoming donation requests, schedule pick-ups on multiple truck routes, and respond to inquiries and concerns via email and phone in a timely, professional, and informative manner.

  • Ability to articulate the Habitat mission and the ReStore during public speaking engagements and donor meetings.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
