Key Responsibilities:

As the SEC Reporting Manager at Franklin Electric, you will be responsible for leading our external reporting process, working closely with the VP, Corporate Controller to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

This role requires a strong technical accounting background and leadership skills to drive critical financial processes and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic organization.

You will support the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, eliminations, and consolidations, ensuring areas of responsibility are completed accurately and in a timely manner in line with company deadlines.

Additionally, you will provide technical accounting guidance, ensure transactions are accounted for in line with company policy and US GAAP, and coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.

As a business partner, you will support FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other business leaders to ensure alignment and consistency of financial results and operating plans.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field, and five or more years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications include acquisitions and valuation experience, process improvement experience, advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, and intermediate database & JD Edwards skills.
