Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at the University of California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and care coordination.
  • Assist patients in accessing healthcare services within our system, including referrals to specialists and other resources.
  • Facilitate communication with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Provide follow-up support to patients through telephone and electronic communication.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective care delivery.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and policies, with a strong understanding of patient care principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of specific specialty practice and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of patient-related policies and procedures, as well as a thorough understanding of the University system and its services and programs.
