As a Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will have daily opportunities to provide outstanding service to our residents, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, guide, and manage the service team in their daily operations.
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding, training, and mentoring for the service team while providing performance feedback to the Community Director.
  • Establish standards for the cleanliness and overall presentation of the community's grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, market-ready units, and common areas to ensure they reflect the community's high standards.
  • Coordinate and assist the service team with apartment turnovers and service requests, inspecting vacant units to ensure readiness for new residents.
  • Manage contractor scheduling for apartment turnovers and repairs, monitor progress, and conduct final inspections of completed work.
  • Address escalated maintenance and customer service issues by taking appropriate actions to restore service within established quality and time standards.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and service quality.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Analyze Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback to proactively enhance the resident experience and overall perception.
  • Manage vendor relationships and order supplies/equipment to maintain inventory levels within budget.
  • Assist with pre-move-out inspections in a timely manner.
  • Conduct community inspections, lead safety meetings, and uphold safety standards to ensure resident well-being and mitigate liability.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or necessary.
Required Competencies:
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to coordinate resources effectively to achieve goals; adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Time Management: Efficient use of time, prioritizing vital tasks to maximize productivity.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Employs logical methods to tackle complex issues and identifies hidden challenges.
  • Customer Orientation: Committed to meeting the needs of both internal and external customers, building trust and respect.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Background as a Facilities Operations Supervisor, Assistant Facilities Supervisor, or Lead Maintenance Technician in the multi-family or hospitality sectors.
  • Proficient in residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, painting, and drywall work.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Competent in modern technology, particularly computers and smartphones.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to participate in on-call responsibilities.
Educational Background:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.
