Role Overview: The Kitchen Operations Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef and Executive Chef in managing the daily kitchen operations and staff in their absence, while adhering to the Chef's directives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food production across various venues, including restaurants, catering, and special events.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
- Manage staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
- Enforce portion control guidelines and maintain inventory of food products and kitchen supplies.
- Engage in administrative tasks such as documentation and filing.
- Monitor food and labor costs to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure timely food service and quality control during peak hours.
- Attend departmental meetings and facilitate regular communication among team members.
