Job Summary:

As an Assistant Restaurant General Manager at Mike Baig, you will be responsible for the hands-on day-to-day activities of the restaurant. Your duties will include implementing business initiatives, assisting in financial planning, managing all banking and administrative responsibilities, conducting interviews, hiring, training, and maintenance. A qualified applicant will have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess knowledge of profit and loss statements, point of sale systems, and have good communication and leadership skills. Additionally, you will need to be able to lift 50 pounds, have a valid driver's license with access to an automotive vehicle, including proof of insurance, and a minimum of 1 year of restaurant supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement business initiatives to drive restaurant growth and profitability
  • Assist in financial planning and budgeting to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Manage all banking and administrative responsibilities, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates to fill restaurant positions
  • Train and develop restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of profit and loss statements and point of sale systems
