Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images for medical interpretation and administering therapeutic radioactive isotopes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relay instructions to patients and follow procedure protocols
  • Inject radioactive isotopes and acquire images
  • Process and review images for accuracy
  • Ensure image quality by performing equipment QA
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Successful completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  • New graduate or up to one year of experience
  • Must obtain Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License prior to start date
  • CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or NMTCB must be obtained within 12 months of hire
