Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Concentra. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine x-ray examinations in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, and procedures. You will work under the direct supervision of the treating clinician and support other areas of the facility as needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms, and providing verbal and/or written instructions.
Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, positioning equipment and adjusting controls according to specifications.
Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, reporting malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
Follow all Radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
CPR/First Aid Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred with prior medical office, healthcare, and/or customer service-related experience.
