The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT images for medical interpretation and administering therapeutic radioactive isotopes.

This role requires a strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and procedures, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Producing nuclear medicine and PET/CT images for medical interpretation
  • Administering therapeutic radioactive isotopes
  • Relaying instructions to patients and following procedure protocols
  • Ensuring image quality by performing equipment QA

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field
  • Successful completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Program
  • Certification as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  • New graduate or up to one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
