Job Overview

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. KEDPLASMA LLC. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Training Coordinator. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our Donor Center operations by providing training and development opportunities to our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Training Manager to develop and implement training programs for Donor Center staff.
  • Demonstrate expertise and compliance with Kedplasma Donor Center Operating Procedures and Kedplasma Training Manual.
  • Ensure all staff members possess current certification in Screening, Donor Floor, Processing and Shipping and Receiving.
  • Work with Management to facilitate the training process and manage the training system within the center.
  • Maintain Donor Center Training Manual and update as necessary.
  • Ensure all Training files for each position within the Center are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Notify Management and Staff of specific training requirements and ensure all re-certifications and training updates are performed on a timely basis.
  • Work with Management to assign Designated Trainers in different areas of the Donor Center.
  • Assist Management in specific training needs that have arisen from any audit findings and/or regulatory and operational requests.
  • Perform any other duties as required by Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Available to work flexible and/or extended shifts.
  • Flexibility to work hours outside normal business hours.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Openness to some travel as necessary for special projects.
  • Occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of computer equipment and software (DMS with training).
  • Demonstrated accuracy in completing documentation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • The employee is required to enter an environment with a temperature of -30°C for short periods of time.
  • Ability to tug, lift, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Be able to bend, stoop or kneel.
  • Cold tolerance in storage freezers and adaptation to wide change of temperatures in handling samples and product.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
