Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Academic Program Manager to join our team at Johns Hopkins University. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our department, ensuring the smooth execution of academic programs, and providing exceptional support to faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate academic programs, including course scheduling, registration, and grading.
  • Provide administrative support to faculty and staff, including preparing reports, managing budgets, and coordinating events.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with university regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with departmental staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of academic programs.
  • Monitor and analyze data to inform program development and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
Requirements
  • Masters or Ph.D. in education or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in academic program administration, with a focus on program management and coordination.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a higher education setting.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and university regulations.
  • Experience with program evaluation and assessment.
