College Adviser

The University of Georgia is seeking a dedicated and passionate College Adviser to join our team. As a College Adviser, you will play a vital role in helping students navigate the college admissions process and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Work with high school seniors to provide information on the college admissions process, financing college, and registering for and taking ACT/SAT exams.
- Assist students in finding scholarship resources and completing college applications.
- Complete all GCAC reports and projects as assigned, tracking student interactions using the College Advising Corps Student GRACE web-based system.
- Work with the site liaison at the assigned high school, with the understanding that your official supervisor is the Program Director of the Georgia College Advising Corps.
- Host college fairs and information sessions regarding college admission and financial aid.
- Conduct outreach to high school juniors, sophomores, and freshmen to build interest and enthusiasm toward college.
- Earned a Bachelor's degree by July 2024.
- Graduated from high school between 2018 and 2021.
- Strong desire to serve and ability to work well with a wide variety of populations.
