Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities and Logistics Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mailroom Management: Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of packages, utilizing tracking systems to monitor progress.
  • Delivery Coordination: Coordinate and perform deliveries within the office to various departments, maintaining a schedule to ensure prompt delivery.
  • Kitchen and Pantry Management: Manage pantry supplies and inventory, ordering and replenishing items as needed, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Office Supply Management: Monitor and manage office supply inventory, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • General Office Support: Provide administrative support, including setting up meeting rooms, assisting with office moves, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and moving packages and supplies.
  • Event Support: Assist with company events, including setting up and breaking down, to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Former experience in office support, preferably in a facilities or logistics role.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy mail and packages (up to 50 lbs).
  • Professional Development: Opportunities for training and development in areas such as logistics, inventory management, administration, and customer service.
  • Shipping and Receiving Experience: Proven experience working in shipping and receiving is ideal, with experience with FedEx and USPS a plus.
