Job Summary

The Port Authority of NY & NJ is seeking a skilled Strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will partner with business leaders to link organizational and workforce strategies to improve organization effectiveness, talent quality, engagement, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Directly supervise HR Business Partners and Senior HR Business Partners, including goal setting, coaching, and staff development.
• Ensure Human Resources programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitor effectiveness through the tracking of key measures.
• Partner with executives and senior management to develop and drive strategic workforce plans with clear, actionable steps that optimize the organization's talent, structure, process, and culture.

Requirements
Candidates must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, and a minimum of 8 years of experience working in partnership with business leaders in a Human Resources Business Partner or senior Human Resources capacity, or an Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience providing strategic direction and advising senior leadership on solutions that advance the business agenda or resolve business issues.

What We Offer
The Port Authority of NY & NJ offers a hybrid work schedule based on business needs and allows for the option of working remotely several days per week. On-site work location consists of the Human Resources Department headquarters located in 4 World Trade Center and client-based locations at NY and NJ facilities in the NY Metro area.
