Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, including greeting patients, collecting co-pays, and verifying insurance eligibility.
  • Analyze health insurance benefits and relay relevant information regarding payment policies and billing/collection processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, phone calls, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the practice manager and other staff members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Stay up-to-date with standard healthcare regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office or emergency room setting.
  • Urgent care experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
