Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Nutritional Services Assistant to support our culinary team. Your role will involve preparing and serving meals to our cherished residents across various facilities. The ideal candidate will be skilled in meal preparation, following specific guidelines while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. A customer-focused mindset is essential to deliver exceptional food services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange dining areas with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of a dietary supervisor or chef.
  • Serve meals and trays promptly to designated locations.
  • Clear dining areas and collect used dishes and utensils.
  • Dispose of leftovers and manage waste disposal.
  • Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas and wash kitchenware.
  • Monitor inventory and assist in stocking ingredients.
  • Support in tracking expenses and planning menus.
  • Help with the upkeep of kitchen appliances and equipment.

Required Skills

  • Experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role.
  • Background in customer service is advantageous.
  • Understanding of sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Ability to prepare meals according to established guidelines.
  • Proficient in using kitchen tools and cooking equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Certification in food service is a plus.

Incentives

Work Schedule
