ROLE OVERVIEW

Position Title: Guest Services Supervisor

Reports To: Guest Services Manager, Rooms Director

KEY DUTIES:

- Assist the Guest Services Manager in overseeing the responsibilities of the guest service team.
- Ensure that guests are greeted with professionalism and warmth, receiving competent service throughout their stay.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support front desk operations including roles such as Guest Service Aide, PBX Operator, and Reservationist, ensuring a thorough understanding of daily transactions and bookings.
  • Onboard and train new Guest Service Agents while maintaining updated knowledge of room rates and charges.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Housekeeping Departments to address maintenance and guest requests effectively.
  • Manage safety deposit box services and uphold established safety and security protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate staffing levels and accommodate special requests and group reservations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Three to twelve months in a related role.

Skills and Abilities: Competence in computer and cash handling, with a friendly and guest-focused demeanor. Strong communication skills and the ability to relay information effectively to management, staff, and guests.
