ROLE OVERVIEW

Position Title: Guest Services Supervisor

Reports To: Guest Services Manager, Rooms Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist the Guest Services Manager in overseeing the guest service team’s responsibilities.
- Ensure that guests receive exceptional and professional service, marked by a warm welcome and friendly demeanor.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Support front desk operations including roles such as Guest Service Aide, PBX Operator, and Reservationist, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of daily transactions and bookings.
  • Facilitate training for new Guest Service Agents and maintain awareness of room rates and charges.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Housekeeping Departments to address maintenance and guest requests efficiently.
  • Manage safety deposit box services and uphold safety and security protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate staffing levels and accommodate special requests and group arrangements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Three to twelve months in a similar role.

Skills and Abilities: Proficient in computer operations and cash handling, with a sociable and guest-focused attitude. Strong communication skills with the ability to relay information effectively to management, staff, and guests.
