Position Summary: We are in search of a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead and manage intricate commercial projects, specifically in retail and light industrial sectors, with a minimum budget threshold of $10 million. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience and a solid history of delivering large-scale projects punctually and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all on-site construction operations for projects valued at $10 million or more.
- Formulate and execute project timelines, ensuring all construction phases are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
- Ensure quality control measures are in place and that all work complies with safety standards and building regulations.
- Conduct frequent site evaluations to assess progress and address any issues or modifications in project scope.
- Maintain transparent communication with clients, providing consistent updates on project developments and addressing any inquiries.
- Effectively resolve any on-site disputes or challenges as they arise.
- Prepare and uphold precise project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
- At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent in the commercial construction industry, managing projects of $10 million or more.
- Experience in retail and light industrial construction is essential.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and safety protocols.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Capability to interpret and analyze construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
