Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Control Analyst to join our team at Crawford & Company. As a key member of our Shared Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex financial and operational process reviews to identify internal control deficiencies and develop solutions to address them.
  • Collaborate with management to implement and monitor internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct pre-implementation reviews of new systems and recommend controls to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Internal Audit.
  • Provide guidance to management on audit issues and help develop processes and procedures to address them.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of IT operations or auditing experience, with knowledge of IT general controls, accounting, finance, and internal control areas.
  • Big 4 Accounting firm or multinational public U.S. company experience with SOX control framework is preferred.
  • Comprehension of professional auditing standards, US GAAP, SOX, COSO, and risk-assessment practices.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), IT Certification, or CISA is preferred.
