Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to management and the leadership team, as well as assisting employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with hiring processes, including coordinating applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, and social security number verification
  • Maintain applicant flow, drug screen, orientation, and transfer request logs
  • Create and maintain new hire and personnel files, as well as enter them into Human Resources Information Systems
  • Assist with orientation of new employees and monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents, I-9s, and payroll records
  • Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
Requirements
  • High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent
  • One to three years of relevant work experience (Human Resources preferred); or bachelor's degree
  • No supervisory experience is required
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
