Job Title: Manager, Human Resources

Overview

The Manager, Human Resources plays a critical role in supporting the company's human resources initiatives to achieve business strategy and long-term objectives. This role provides strategic support and partners with assigned business leaders to drive HR processes and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively supports the delivery and implementation of HR processes for Sales and Operations client groups in collaboration with the Management and HR teams.
  • Supports the internal talent acquisition process, including conducting new-employee orientations and monitoring career-path programs.
  • Conducts exit interviews and evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems, and recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an HR business partner and/or HR generalist.
  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs, including presentation software.
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion, as well as customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytic and reporting skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR or SPHR certification.
  • Prior experience with Labor Relations.

Competencies

  • May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.
  • Resolves issues that are often varied and non-routine, undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
