Position Summary

We encourage individuals with disabilities to consider the Custodial Services Associate role. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing custodial tasks as specified in the service agreements. This role allows for additional time on tasks and other support options when accompanied by appropriate documentation.


Responsibilities include maintaining assigned indoor and outdoor areas, which encompasses: waste disposal, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and thorough cleaning of restrooms.


Assist with periodic maintenance tasks such as: floor stripping and sealing, carpet cleaning, and window washing.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to learn and apply custodial methods and operate both light and heavy cleaning equipment.

Attendance at mandatory agency meetings and training sessions is required.

Ability to comprehend and consistently adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Present a positive and professional demeanor to colleagues and clients.

Understand and address the needs of individuals with disabilities and those facing disadvantages.

Additional time, reminders for tasks, flexible scheduling, and extra breaks are available for those with supporting documentation.

Must be capable of standing for extended periods.

Ability to lift and navigate stairs as needed.

Perform other assigned responsibilities as necessary.


If involved in a program that includes a job coach or other support personnel, management will ensure their access and establish regular meeting schedules.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds, with or without assistance.
