Job Summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Survey Project Manager to lead and grow our survey practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth, leading business development and marketing efforts, and implementing sales strategies to drive sustainable growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the efforts in identifying opportunities for growing the survey practice
  • Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies to drive growth
  • Provide technical oversight of the practice, including quality assurance and quality control of procedures and work product
  • Monitor field and office procedures to ensure a high level of consistent work product and service
  • Assist with the identification and recruitment of key personnel
  • Mentor and train survey staff to ensure professional growth and development
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional surveying experience
  • Professional Surveyor Registration (PLS, PS) required
  • Network of existing contacts preferred
  • Ability to assist in the continued growth of a survey practice using marketing and networking techniques
  • Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
  • Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff in the survey practice
  • Ability to speak and write professionally
  • Ability to manage and monitor junior staff
