Job Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is expanding and presents a remarkable opportunity for a Survey Operations Manager to spearhead and cultivate a successful surveying division. In this role, you will take charge of identifying avenues for growth, spearheading business development initiatives, and executing marketing strategies aimed at fostering sustainable advancement of the division.

Your collaboration with various departments within CEC will ensure a cohesive approach to meeting our clients' requirements. You will oversee the technical aspects of the division, ensuring quality assurance and control of processes and deliverables. Monitoring both field and office operations will be essential to maintain a high standard of consistent output and service.

Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and recruiting key personnel, while also mentoring and guiding the survey team to promote their professional development.



Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in surveying;
  • Required Professional Surveyor Registration (PLS, PS);
  • Preferred existing network of contacts;
  • Proven ability to enhance the growth of a surveying division through effective marketing and networking;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of advancements, principles, techniques, and practices in land surveying;
  • Capability to provide mentorship and guidance to team members;
  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Experience in managing and supervising junior staff.
