Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified supervisor to support the Cartons and Diversified team in driving efficiencies and reducing waste. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support packaging departments to drive efficiencies and reduce waste by creating, maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting systems reports in SAP and Kronos.
  • Review daily SAP and Kronos transactions to ensure accuracy and communicate corrections to managers, leads, and/or HR.
  • Perform general administrative support, including maintaining and delivering daily budget reports, daily blending scorecards, and daily production and efficiency reporting.
  • Oversee payroll for union employees in the department using Kronos.
  • Track and monitor Paid Time Off and Accruals for departmental employees.
  • Track attendance and communicate with management regarding status and discipline.
  • Order supplies and materials.
  • Show strong attention to detail and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Submit and approve access idM requests for the Packaging team.
  • Organize events within the department, including recognition, retirement, and other celebrations.
  • Maintain the Packaging Administrative budget, supplies, office repairs, and other related tasks.
  • Submit shopping carts and manage POs in SAP for Packaging, including obtaining quotes, supplier justifications, invoices, and tracking.
  • Manage plant distribution lists.
  • Manage weekend coverage spreadsheets and send information regarding weekend salaried on-call employees to distribution.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Administrative writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic technical aptitude and math skills.
  • Intermediate-advanced Microsoft Office and Visio skills, with Excel being a must.
  • Organization and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to analyze information and problem-solve.
  • Professionalism.
  • Supply management.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • Self-motivated and strong sense of urgency, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with teams at different levels of the organization.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • College degree.
  • Previous payroll administration experience, preferably using Kronos or a similar payroll system.
  • 3-5 years of administrative or manufacturing experience.
