Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to join our team at Sierra Health and Wellness Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

Responsibilities
  • Client Care
    • Provide individualized nursing care to clients, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
    • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and counselors, to ensure comprehensive care.
    • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Accurately and thoroughly document client progress, including medical records and nursing notes.
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current LVN or LPT license in the state of California.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of care.
