Job Title: General Manager Aviation

Reporting to the Regional Director of Aviation Operations, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of snow removal operations. During the Spring and Summer months, the focus shifts to broadening customer retention activities, enhancing customer service, and exploring new revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate overall contract service delivery requirements and develop effective plans for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Department to assess equipment needs and create Fleet work orders for maintenance and repairs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor all aspects of the snow removal/operator program, including safety, recruitment, orientation, training, support, and recognition of operators.
  • Provide job information for snow removal/equipment and personnel dispatched.
  • Illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities.
  • Attend Base conferences, meetings, and social functions while representing the Outworx brand.
  • Collaborate with Sales on new business opportunities and help bring them to contract close.
  • Ensure compliance of vendors and contractors providing snow removal service.
  • Review, analyze, modify, and implement efficient and effective department budgets, P&L statements, processes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of snow removal/construction experience or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years in a people management role.
  • Previous Account Management/Customer Service experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced understanding of basic office applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
