POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure the functionality of communication devices by testing beepers and radios. Provide essential items such as rollaway beds and refrigerators to guest accommodations. Deliver additional amenities like towels, bathrobes, and toiletries directly to guest rooms. Facilitate the delivery of messages, mail, packages, and other items to guests. Assist in the provision of food, beverages, or other requested items, ensuring that orders are accurately assembled for delivery.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures; report any incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; maintain a clean and professional appearance; safeguard confidential information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; proactively address guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues; collaborate to achieve shared objectives. Comply with quality assurance standards and expectations. Accurately read and verify information in various formats. Conduct visual inspections of tools and equipment to identify any defects. Maintain mobility by standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Navigate through confined spaces and stairs as necessary. Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.
Supervisory Experience: Not applicable.
License or Certification: None required.
The compensation for this role ranges from $19.97 per hour. Employees represented by a union may have access to a union retirement plan, health plan, and other benefits, depending on union affiliation. Benefits are subject to specific terms and conditions, which may include eligibility rules, enrollment periods, and contribution limits.
