Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bell Attendant to join our team at The Westin Seattle. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer, record, and process all guest requests, questions, or concerns via various communication channels.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and direct calls to the appropriate extension.
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, ensuring timely communication with guests and staff.
  • Log guest requests or issues into the computer, contact relevant departments, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local attractions.
  • Process room service orders, answer menu questions, and record transactions in the point-of-sale system.
  • Assist guests with accessing internet and guestroom entertainment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
