Allina Health is a not-for-profit organization operating over 65 clinics and 10 hospitals across a vibrant region. Our Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line provides comprehensive care, including integrated psychiatry and specialized outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychiatric care to child and adolescent patients facing intricate mental health challenges within a hospital-based clinic.
- Conduct diagnosis and treatment, individual therapy, discharge planning, medication management, biofeedback training, and crisis intervention.
- Work closely with Allina hospitals to facilitate referrals from primary care, emergency departments, and hospital discharges.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, nurses, and social workers to enhance service delivery for complex patient needs.
- Perform 90-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-up sessions for child and adolescent patients.
- Opportunity for remote/virtual work once practice is established.
- Participate in daytime clinic hours with potential on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or equivalent international training required.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Minnesota (or ability to obtain).
- Capability to secure and maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Meet criteria for credentialing and hospital privileges as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work: Lifting weights up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently.
