Overview:
Allina Health is a not-for-profit organization with a strong presence in the Twin Cities, operating numerous clinics and hospitals across the region. Our organization is committed to providing comprehensive mental health services, including integrated psychiatry and specialized outpatient care.
Position Highlights:
- Deliver psychiatric care to children and adolescents facing intricate mental health challenges in a hospital-based clinic.
- Services encompass diagnosis, individual therapy, discharge planning, medication management, biofeedback training, and crisis intervention.
- Work closely with Allina hospitals to facilitate referrals from primary care and emergency departments.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of psychologists, nurses, and social workers to enhance patient care.
- Conduct 90-minute intake assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions for child/adolescent patients.
- Potential for remote work after establishing practice.
- Standard daytime clinic hours with optional on-call participation.

Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or equivalent foreign training required.
- Board eligible/certified with ABMS or AOA.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Minnesota or ability to obtain.
- Capability to secure and maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Meet credentialing and hospital privilege criteria as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Medium Work: Lifting up to 32 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. frequently, in accordance with safe patient moving policies.
