Organizational Change Management Consultant

Location: Hybrid - 4 days onsite (Mandatory Requirement)

Duration: 12 Plus Months

We are in search of experienced professionals in the field of Organizational Change Management (OCM) and project coordination, who possess robust project management capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 12 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Prosci Certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Background in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or HR Techno Commercial knowledge in Change Management.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

  • Comprehensive understanding of SDLC projects such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with key business processes in Procurement, Supply Chain, Analytics, or Logistics.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current technologies.
  • Experience across various industries including Automotive, Engineering, Discrete Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Oil and Gas, High Technology, and Semiconductors.
  • Proficient in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, and Distribution.
  • Advanced degree preferred, with a solid grasp of the change process and how individuals navigate through it.
  • In-depth knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong active listening abilities.
  • Capability to clearly convey messages to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Influential in guiding others towards a shared vision or goal.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in uncertain environments.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • The change management consultant will be pivotal in ensuring that projects or change initiatives achieve their objectives on time and within budget by enhancing employee adoption and engagement.
  • This role emphasizes the human aspect of change, including modifications to business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures.
  • The primary focus will be on developing and executing change management strategies and plans that optimize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • The change manager will strive to accelerate adoption, enhance utilization, and improve proficiency with changes affecting employees.
  • These enhancements will contribute to increased benefit realization, value creation, return on investment, and the achievement of desired outcomes.
  • While supervisory responsibilities may vary, this individual will need to collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization to ensure success.
  • The consultant will serve as a coach for senior leaders and executives, assisting them in their roles as change sponsors.
  • Direct support and coaching will also be provided to managers and supervisors as they guide their teams through transitions.
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
  • Utilize a structured methodology to lead change management initiatives.
  • Implement change management processes and tools to devise strategies that facilitate the adoption of necessary changes.
  • Assist in communication efforts, including the design, development, delivery, and management of communications.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes, conduct readiness assessments, and identify key stakeholders.
  • Support training initiatives by providing input, documenting requirements, and aiding in the design and delivery of training programs.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

  1. Conduct change management assessments and prepare risk mitigation strategies.
  2. Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
  3. Consult and coach project teams.
  4. Create actionable deliverables for key change management components such as communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
  5. Engage and support senior leaders.
  6. Coach managers and supervisors.
  7. Assist in organizational design and defining roles and responsibilities.
  8. Coordinate efforts with other specialists.
  9. Integrate change management activities into project plans.
  10. Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
  11. Manage stakeholder relationships.
  12. Track and report issues.
  13. Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  14. Support change management initiatives at the organizational level.
  15. Oversee the change portfolio.
