Position Overview:

We are excited to offer a permanent position for a Mechanical Estimator. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the construction industry and excel in dynamic environments with a keen eye for detail.

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be integral in ensuring that project timelines and financial plans are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
In your role as a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for:
  • Evaluating contractor proposals to confirm the accuracy and completeness of cost estimates and specifications.
  • Creating detailed cost estimates and financial plans for various mechanical construction initiatives.
  • Performing comprehensive risk evaluations to foresee project challenges and ensure precise cost forecasting.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to develop thorough estimates.
  • Keeping abreast of local market trends to submit competitive and accurate bids.
  • Utilizing industry knowledge to inform design decisions for maximum value.
  • Assisting project management throughout the project lifecycle, from initial estimates to final financial accounts.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction sector.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in bid evaluation and cost estimation.
  • In-depth knowledge of local market pricing trends.
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with a variety of professionals.
  • The ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including estimating tools and MS Office.
