Position Overview:
If you are passionate about the construction industry, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Permanent Mechanical Estimator within our organization. This role is well-suited for individuals who excel in demanding environments and possess a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Estimator, your primary duties will encompass:

  • Evaluating contractor proposals to verify the accuracy and completeness of costs and specifications.
  • Creating detailed estimates and cost plans for various mechanical construction initiatives.
  • Performing comprehensive risk assessments to foresee project challenges and ensure precise cost forecasts.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to formulate thorough estimates.
  • Keeping abreast of local rate trends to present competitive and accurate bids.
  • Utilizing industry insights to inform design decisions for maximum value.
  • Assisting project management throughout the project lifecycle, from initial estimates to final accounts.

Qualifications:
To thrive in this position, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the construction sector.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in bid analysis and cost estimation.
  • A thorough knowledge of local rate trends.
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse professionals.
  • The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including estimating tools and MS Office.
