Job Title: Energy Construction Manager Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Energy Construction Manager to join our team at University Mechanical Contractors, Inc. (UMC). As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of energy-focused design-build projects from start to finish. Your expertise in energy conservation and generation, Clean Tech, and district energy will be invaluable in driving our company's mission forward. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to determine construction-based requirements and overall budget for projects * Work with preconstruction and energy engineering to determine design-build conceptual scopes for maximum energy conservation and utilization * Develop and maintain client relationships * Assist with life cycle cost analysis * Support IGA analysis and development of constructability overview, project schedules, and cost estimates Requirements: * Construction Management or Engineering degree * Broad understanding of HVAC & controls systems * Minimum of five years experience as a general contractor (manager/estimator/MEP) with a focus on commercial, industrial, and Federal projects * Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is desirable * Background within MEP, energy, and/or control industry * LEED certification is desirable * OSHA 30 certification is desirable Equal Opportunity Employer: UMC is committed to a culture of inclusion and connectedness.
